Description
From Monrovia website: "This native tree with outstanding maroon to chocolate-colored foliage and stems was discovered by Monrovia Craftsman Marty Powe. New spring growth remains well into summer before turning a deep green color. Branching habit is somewhat open with the deeply lobed foliage exhibiting striking red fall color. This shade tree grows well in acid or poorly drained soils and requires minimum pruning."
